REPAIRS
At The Violet Opal, we understand the importance of preserving and maintaining your handcrafted jewelry. We also understand that due to the inherent delicate nature of jewelry, accidents can happen. We take great pride in our design and craftsmanship and are happy to repair any of our pieces. Each repair is a unique case and is handled accordingly. Please follow these steps to initiate the repair process:
- Please email us at repairs@thevioletopal.com with your name, order number (if you have it) and repair issue.
- Please include photos of the repair issue. Please try to be as detailed as possible.
- Once we receive the above info, we will assess the issue and what type of repair is needed.
- Depending on the severity of the repair needed, we may have to charge a fee for materials. Repair fees will be discussed and fully agreed upon before we begin any repair.
- Shipping to The Violet Opal is the customer's responsibility. We will cover the return shipping costs after completing the repair.
Please Note:
- We can only repair jewelry that was created by and purchased directly from The Violet Opal. If you purchased your TVO jewelry from a retailer, please contact them for their repair/return policy.
- We cannot repair chains that have become tangled or knotted. We understand this sometimes happens, however we won’t be able to untangle your jewelry for you. We can offer a replacement of the chain for a fee.
Lost Earring:
Lost one of your Violet Opal earrings? That happens! We will be happy to replace it for you. We will need the other earring in order to match it. Please contact us at repairs@thevioletopal.com to initiate the replacement process. The cost of replacement will be 50% of the current cost of the earrings plus shipping to and from The Violet Opal.
We will not be able to replace one-of-a-kind earrings or discontinued designs.
